Angel Notion is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and donations to provide education, medical aid, and opportunities for people of lesser means and special needs. Angel Notion is located in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
For the 39th time since 2001 Dr. Peter LaPine will bring a group from Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, Michigan to Angel Notion's clinic in the Nicte Ha. The Virtual Clinic, a unique real-time, interactive web-based telemedicine node specially design to provide needed assistance to the community in communicative disorders will begin on September 20, 2009. Collaborations between Angel Notion's medical staff lead by Dr. Gabi Ayala with Dr. LaPine will allow for handicapped children to receive special clinical services via this exclusive telemedicine network, the only system of its kind in the world. Dr. Larry Prokop, a physiatrist, who has worked many times in the Nicte Ha Clinic and 22 graduate students from MSU will participate in the Virtual Clinic and will be in Nicte Ha from October 14-18 to provide clinical care.
